Delhi gets first taste of real speed

Formula one driver Daniel Ricardo goes screaming down the rajpath in a red bull car at 270 kmph on Saturday.

In a blink-and –miss prelude to India’s first formula one racing to be staged later this month in greater noida, Ricardo did three runs in front of nearly 2,000 spectators. The Australian will make way for naraine karthikeyan at the airtel Indian grand prix on October 30, for which the times of India is the media partner.
